As the closing Ceremonies are on Sunday evening I am wondering if anyone will be watching them?
The reason I am asking is Vancouver will be the Host for the 2010 games and it will be the First ever in the History of the Olympics to have a Quadriplegic Mayor receive the flag.
I would like to hear what you thought of the Canadian Presentation.
I shall be glued to my set and waving my flag. And probably shedding a few tears of Pride.

They're showing the ceremony at 7pm, so it's no problem for me.

Honestly, I don't mind staying up all night to watch these kind of events

I will definitely be watching. I hope they show a lot of scenery. Canada has some fantastic areas and Vancouver/Whistler is right up there.

So not live. It is being shown here at 6.45pm and we are some hours ahead of you.

It clashes with a couple of programmes that I like to watch and as I haven't watched any of the events I might give it a miss, or just watch parts of it - not decided.

I watched quite a bit of it, certainly the bit with the handing over of the flag. All very spectacular.

There was an all night black out last night, combined with a screaming child (it's so dark, Mummy!) at 3am meant I missed all of it. I'm sure there will be plenty of highlights shown later.

LOL ... I like the part where they were extinguishing the Olympic flame. One minute the cameras were focused on the brides, they next minute the flame was out. Very cool!

I got to watch it very early and I proudly admit I shed a few tears when the Mayor accepted the flag.
The whole ceremony was awesome.
Canada's part in it was short but made me proud to be a Canadian.
So COME PLAY WITH US in 2010!

I need some help please.I am looking to find a Video clip of the hand over of the flag and I can't seem to find one. Any suggestions where to look would be appreciated or a link to such a site would be good.
Thanks.
