PurpleFan Multiloquent Registered: Fri Oct 22 1999 Posts: 2249 Loc: New Westminster BC Canada	It has been a bad two days for people who were familiar with both Don Knott's and Darren McGavin's work on television. I remember watching the Mike hammer series and also the ''Kolchak: The Night Stalker series. I also liked him in what has now become a classic Movie "A Christmas Story". He was 83. Winter or summer, he wore that straw boater and what appeared to be a white seersucker suit. What a guy.
