Berocca is packed full of vitamin B and is the ideal compliment to have greasy breakfast the morning after the night before.

Marmite is also full of vitamin B - perhaps we ought to send a supply of that.

Meagan, Leau,
Approximate dates please. July is a big month - a ball park date would be useful.
As to suggesting we need Marmite - what sacrilege - Vegemite will be the order of the day Sue!

Well now, this one I might actually be able to make! Lord knows it can't be a bad thing to get out of Canberra in July, however briefly. Round about then we're usually forgetting what the sun looks like... But yes, a narrowing down of dates would help - with my luck it'll be exactly the time my Brisbane family will be down here for school holidays ...anyway, I hereby signal my request to be considered a definate possible maybe!

At this stage it will be either the weekend of 15/16 or 22/23 of July and I should have a firm date by the end of the week. ing - you have piked in the past, this time there will be no excuses. I have a spare bedroom which you may have to share with ozzz and in the words of Gats YIKES! Seriously if you are looking for a place to stay I do have a spare room. The same goes for any interstaters who would like to come.

*Gatsby is crossing his fingers that this bash occurs on the w/e of the 22nd. Not that I can come, of course, but can think of no better a birthday present than an Aussie phone call from all my pals around then (and my Dutch ones, too, by all means )!*

This idea came from someone who said, "I have a plan so cunning you could brush your teeth with it!" (Whatever that means ) What about the idea of a 'City Cat' crawl? The idea is to travel along the river getting off at selected destinations for a quiet drink and then moving on. That way we don't have to worry about transport and will give our visitors (and locals) great views of the city etc. There are no State of Origin games etc on 22 July so I reckon it would please us just as much as Gats if we could wish him many happy returns on 22 July. We should have no trouble finding enough lifts to get to base camp. If everyone likes this idea then I will put an itinerary together.

Apart from anyone being affected by sea-sickness, that's a great idea!

Glad someone else brought up sea-sickness (no pun intended), although if it's not actual waves I should be fine... [so tell us, Ing, is there any low-level annoying physical condition you don't suffer from? No, well, as long as I bathe regularly and keep taking the tablets...and stay away from felines and grass...and high places...and anything sharper than a banana...and bananas...no, just kidding, I've got no problems with bananas whatsoever! ]
