At this particular moment, I'm really attached to The Decemberists, Maroon 5 (but just the first 3 albums), The Shins, and Florence + the Machine. If we're talking of all time, probably The Eagles or Fleetwood Mac.

I don't know, most of my favorite artists are singers, not bands.

I do like Maroon 5 quite a bit, all albums.

Coldplay is ok, but not a top choice. But I can't think of many bands I like, so...

However, I'm a huge fan of classic rock. I don't dare even try to pick a favorite. I grew up in Memphis, so I am also a fan of local bands who never make it, but are great entertainment for a lot less money. But Memphis is also known for a great many sounds other than Rock: Country, R&B, Soul, Alternative, Gospel, Show (Broadway, opera), and anything else you can possibly imagine.

I am a musician, and I love it all.

Are you a fan of The Sing-Off? I knew that name sounded familiar.

Yes, I am a fan of "The Sing-Off". Pentatonix was my favorite that season, and they remain a favorite now that they have albums and such. I really enjoy their YouTube channel with their covers of songs. "Thrift Shop" and "Radioactive" are my favorites.

Suddenly like quiet music. Thus, Secret Garden has suddenly topped my list.

At this very point in time it would be The Antlers, Arcade Fire, The National or My Bloody Valentine, though it is very hard for me to even pick a handfull.

I have trouble thinking of the likes of the Beatles and the Rolling Stones and so on as "bands". To me they're "groups". A "band" is Duke Ellington, or Count Basie, or Ted Heath, or Syd Lawrence. And then there's "orchestras"...

Favorite all-time is The Beatles, they created an incredible amount of great music in such a short time.
