Just got home from seeing High Fidelity, John Cusacks new movie. HILARIOUS!! Bust a gut in parts and totally moved by others. GREAT soundtrack and GREAT supporting performers. MANY cameos that will surprise. All in all a big winner in my book. I see two to three movies a month and this was one of the funniest in a loooonnngg time.

I totally agree hungreesman- thumbs up on High Fidelity. John Cusack is reliably great, and the rest of the cast- wow! Everyone was spot on.

I loved the scenes with John Cusack and his sister Joan. Though not playing brother/sister in the movie, their interchange was so obviously informed by their sibling relationship. It was hilarious!

Twins in Training!

Just saw it too. Great movie, especially if you've ever worked in a store like that. I kept looking in the rack of the store and going, I own that, and that, and that. Had that. Woulnd't own THAT on a bet! The attatudes of the clerks was so...familiar, too. Top 5 lists. Desert Island discs (now you see where my post came from. Misspent youth! LOL)

Also just saw Pushing Tin. John Cusack plays a very similar character in that one. Anyone else notice that?
