Getting better, scored 80% this time.
I wonder if there is a similar game for the UK, it would be interesting to know if we can place our counties, I know they have changed a lot since I was at school and did British geography.

An Aussie site would not be much of a challenge- we only have 6 states, and two territories.:)

Ren found it. Although I tried it a couple of times (and they change the order!) I think that I mostly had problems with the same states - those rectangles are a right pain! Coastal states and those by lakes or borders tend to be easier. Also I tend to know that some are definitely east and some southern, but heck, Oregon, Nebraska and the Dakotas definitely got me, and Idaho - and more. I just looked for one on the UK and didn't find one but I did find a map of counties and to be honest I think my score would be awful these days.

I am wondering how many Yanks are game to post their scores... Or do they not fancy being beaten but a Dutchy, a Pom and a convict? .. hehe

I'm glad they had the state names, though - otherwise, the square ones would have been my undoing.

84% - not bad for us backwater Yorkshire gimmers. The only one I got totally wrong was Rhode Island. I tried to put it where New Jersey is.

I only scored 82%, it's those darn square states that always get me!

If you think Delaware (why do I want to sing here?) is small, what about some of the European countries?

I got a 92, but the margin was about thirty miles off. This is because I had them pretty close but let go before they were right on the dot. wonder if someone's done the French departements?

Aint' that the truth ... I loved it in the European one that they had to put big boxes around them. (I failed miserably at Europe but in my defence I did get lots of little ones first. ]
Dela .. .WHERE. Lol Love it.

I got a 94 with an average miss of about ten miles. I did really well on the New England states, but some of them were hard to get exactly in place. I got Wyoming early on and I wasn't sure exactly where in the void it went because there were no outside borders. For the most part, I could probably name the states if I had to look at only their shapes. Wyoming and Colorado are easily mistaken.
