Personally "The Time Machine" was great, but my favorite has to be "Somewhere in Time" (I just love sappy romance)

What do you all think? What is your favorite time-travel movie?

Bagpipes, i loved the movie the time machine. I really wonder what we will be like in about 1000 years. the internet, DVD, mobile/celular phones will be considered to be primitive.

Loved the Time Machine! Rod Taylor, one of my favorite actors. (And he's an Aussie!).

I like the stories that work with the paradox of the affects we have if we do or don't do something and what happens as a result. The New movie coming out soon called Frequency has something to do with that. And the "Back to the Future" series and Time Cop delt with that too.

We have time machines now. Planes, Trains and Automobiles; Phones, TV and the Internet.
Can you imagine how long It would have taken for me to get this message to you 1000 years ago; 100 years ago; 50 years ago; 10 years ago?

Ironically, mine is "Time after Time" about HG Wells actually inventing a time machine to chase down the ripper. Stars Malcolm McDowell

Back to the Future last year I watched these 3 videos so much with our two boys that the three of us could almost recite the whole darn dialogue, and compare phrases in one with the other .. we think Biff's words: "say hello to your mother" in all three of them, our eldest picked that up.

It was hard to choose "Somewhere In Time" over that of "Time After Time" so I figured both are equal!
