Douglas Elton Ulman Fairbanks or, as we knew him, Douglas Fairbanks, Jr., died early this morning at age 90.

Son of fellow actor, Douglas Fairbanks, Sr., Fairbanks, Jr. was knighted in 1949 for "furthering Anglo-American amity." He was married to Mary Hartford and (most notably) Joan Crawford. His present wife was Vera Sheldon.

Gunga Din has always been one of my favorites.Douglas Fairbanks Jr. was a fine actor who made many good films. He was really a screen legend.Hollywood just doesn't have stars like that these days.That man could do everything.
