Last night I was an hour and 15 minutes into the movie (TV with commercials time) when our power went out...

Has anyone seen this one? I thought it was wonderful. Haven't laughed out loud at a movie for a long time. Loved the "say a little prayer" episode at the luncheon.

I really would love to hear what the end is. Suppose I could rent the video, but am interested in your impressions. When it got cut off, she had just "saved" the e-mail to his boss, and the bride-to-be's father had just instructed his secretary to send all his saved e-mails.

Thanks for your input.

Can I please, please, pretty please ask that, if someone's going to tell the ending, it be sent in an email? There are some people who have not seen this movie who might not want the ending revealed to them out of the blue. Kinda one of the Movie Chat Forum Guidelines. Thanks!

Linda, I really wasn't aware of the guidelines, but it really makes sense. I'm sorry to have been so selfish...just wasn't thinking. I was so into the movie that when the power went off I was crushed. Will definitely rent the video, though.

Thanks for putting things straight.

No problem, BrideLady! I understand wanting to know the ending of a movie that got cut off!

Baglady- if someone hasn't mailed you the ending, let me know- I'll email you.

I love that movie! And in fact, I watched some of it the other nite. Why only some? Well, the hubby had a business dinner, so I took the rare opportunity to rent myself a movie of my choosing. And allowed myself the luxury of stopping it just to check on My Best Friend's Wedding to catch that "Say a Little Prayer" scene! Then I watched the rest of the my movie (The Thomas Crowne Affair), all the while eating Milk Duds. Could it have been a more decadent evening?!

And yesterday I got my hair lopped off. It looks strikingly like Rene Russo's. I love it!

Godawful "chic flick," this one, but don't let anyone tell you the ending! Run out to a video store and rent it. Skip the parts you've seen if you want, but you'll be much happier if you see it first hand. I can't stand these type of movies most of the time, but this was one that was well worth seeing.
