Boy, is my age showing or what?

1. Gone With the Wind - way ahead of its time
2. No Way Out - gave meaning to the term ‘trick ending’
3. Primal Fear - a close second to No Way Out
4. Harold and Maude - can a teenager fall in love with an 80 year old? You bet, with lots of sick humor.
5. Wait Until Dark - even though I know it’s coming, ‘that scene’ still makes me jump
6. Camelot - this has to be the worst film ever made, which makes it one of my favorites in the ‘how to take a delightful story and ruin it with lousy casting’ category. Have you ever heard Vanessa Redgrave sing? It isn’t pretty.
7. Show Boat - only because this film is always ignored...people insist upon calling Oklahoma the first ‘modern musical’...Show Boat preceeded it by at least 10 years.
8. Forget Paris - a pure delight...Billy Crystal at his best. Somehow getting a live pidgeon stuck to your head makes perfect sense when you see it here.
9. Blazing Saddles - an offensive movie in many areas, but I adore Madeleine Kahn’s ‘Teutonic Titwillow’ Deitrich take off
10. A Tie Dave and The American President - satisfying...the way things should be in the world of politics

High Society is a great film. A film that has Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, Bing bh bh bh bah Crosby and Grace Kelly can't go wrong. Who was the actress that played the female reporter?
