I hope someone can help me identify a female singer that my daughter heard recently on our local radio's alternative music station. She said the singer sounded like a mix between Enya and Bjork. That sounds like someone I'd like to listen to also. Any ideas about who this could be?

No, sorry, she couldn't remember anything about the song, but since it was played on an alternative radio station, I wonder if it could have been someone like Sinead O'Connor. I'm not really all that familiar with her work but what I have heard has sounded a bit unconventional.

Another unconventional female singer that would probably be heard on an alternative radio station is Bjork. Not sure if this helps...
