I'd say your various hang -ups are completely acceptable around here, as long as they're quiet ones, and nothing Terry can get shut down over!
Welcome, Ladyphant.
LOL, well no, my hang-ups are pretty harmless, and usually kept well in check.
Love your avatar by the way!

Thanks Sue! If it's not too nosy, what does the 943 in your username stand for? Sorry, my incurable inquisitiveness...

Hi Ladyphant from another English Rose Welcome and I'm sure you'll have fun here. And Sue I think you just told everyone there about the dating site

There are threads somewhere floating about in which people explain away their names. I registered on a website many moons ago and it asked for your name, I said Sue and presumably they just add a random three digit number to the names, mine was 943 so when I registered here it was easy to remember. Don't tell anyone, but it was a sort of dating site!
LOL, well I won't tell anyone but I think you just did! I've never been brave enough to join a dating site, so kudos!

I'm a Brit, through and through. There are quite a few of us. A couple of years some of us met up in London in order to spend time with Copago who visted from Australia. If my memory seves me right, we had one from Hastings, two from Surrey, two from London, one from Norwich(?) and me from Jersey. Have a look at the Scrapbook for photos of the meeting.

It looks like a good time was had by all. Maybe one day I'll get to meet up with fellow FunTrivia members. One wonerful thing about the internet is 'meeting' people from all over the world, even if it's just online.

Hello and welcome from a slightly neurotic 40something English David
Hi David
So tell me, is it true that 40 is the new 30? I'm hurtling towards it at a scary rate and want to know if that's just something they say to make us feel better...

In my experience it's when your mind finally matures but your body can no longer keep up with it.
To quote Harry Hill who seems to cover every scenario in three possible phrases, "I don't make the rules!"...
