You have to admit that it makes a good topic title. Rolling Stone, Keith Richards fell out of a tree in Fiji and injured his head. Don't ask me why he was climbing trees at his age, he is 62 years old. The mind boggles. All manner of jokes come to mind, anyway, he is hospital in New Zealand and appears not to require brain surgery. No comment.

Great topic title! Delighted that he is well. Keith is one of my all-time heroes - especially since his life-style and survival to this point defy all logic and flout all traaditional medical advice. As they say in Ireland - 'More power to his elbow'!

Perhaps the song 'Get off of my cloud' ought to have been 'Get out of my tree'.

With all the speculation on what it would take to hurt that guy after all the drugs and damage he's done to his body, this is surprising!

I wonder what they'd find in his brain!

Keith could have treated gravity with disdain.

I guess the other question would be if he gathered any moss...

Brain op for Richards ruled out

Los Angeles:

Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards does not need brain surgery after suffering a head injury.

Some reports speculated that the rock star would need blood to be drained from his brain after the accident on holiday in Fiji last week.

But spokeswoman Fran Curtis said: "He's feeling good and in good spirits."

Richards, 62, was flown to hospital in New Zealand after reportedly falling from a tree while staying at an exclusive resort. He was officially said to have suffered "mild concussion".

The band are due to start the European leg of their A Bigger Bang world tour in Barcelona on May 27.

Ms Curtis said the concert would go ahead as planned but did not know when Richards would leave New Zealand.

After the accident, Richards was airlifted to Auckland's Ascot Hospital for observation last weekend, where he had a brain scan before being released earlier this week.

Richards, known for his hedonistic lifestyle, was voted

rock's top hellraiser in a poll last year.

I feel bad but I laughed when I read this.
All those drugs and it took a coconut tree to hurt him? I am sure Mick was impressed that Keith climbed the tree.

Well, just imagine the discussion with the anathesiologist. He probably knows the entire panoply of drugs!

Yes I have no Sympathy For The Devil. In Yesterday's Paper, on Flight 505 Keith supposedly said The Last Time, Dear Doctor, With Far Away Eyes like Tumbling Dice please Gimme Shelter and Paint It Black while Time Is On My Side.
