Well I digged it(the movie). Samuel L. Jackson was terrific as the new Shaft. There weren't to many bad things about the film, though it was predictable at times. Beware, a whole lot of people get shot in this movie.

Did you dig it????

Nope, not the same storyline (and a different Shaft, too; Richard Roundtree reprises his role and Jackson plays his nephew, a police officer.)

I thought the movie was too predictable. I enjoyed it but I have seen better movies that were made for television. Samuel L. Jackson was great. I give it 2 1/2 stars.

Finally got here in Australia and I got to see it last night. It had some good one-liners but I have a feeling I'll be forgetting the plot and the film in due time. Ho Hum...!!

As far as shoot ´em up, bad-mouthing, one-line comedy hits go...this was entertaining enough. It´s not a two-thumbs up, but I can still dig it. Thinking about getting the soundtrack, if there is one. Alot of the latin songs on there are real popular in the clubs here right now...good for shaking your booty.
