It WAS Sports Night but ABC kept sabotaging it's schedule so that you couldn't find it.
(Rumors are that HBO is picking it up...I'll subscribe to them if it's true!)

Right now I am soooo addicted to Survivor! I can't wait to hear who wins. Rumor has it it's Gretchen...the teacher who was a Navy Seal or some other thing....

Otherwise I never miss an episode of ER, The Real World on MTV, Iron Chef, Everybody Loves Raymond, OZ and The Sopranos on HBO. If I could only watch one show I'd choose OZ. It's my fave by far.

In no particular order, the only five things that get me to turn on a television at this point in time (don't have HBO, cannot watch The Sopranos and drool over Aida Turturro... <sob> )

The X-Files
Malcolm in the Middle
(reruns from the first season of) Family Guy
The Buckeye Racing Report (ohio thoroughbreds)
Farscape

Hmmmmmm. Three out of five on Fox, and none on the Big Three.

I have always liked Sienfeld but some of the more recent t.v programs seem to be pretty good. I'm also with Hungree..I want to see who wins Survivor.

I'll throw another vote for OZ.
I used to watch every week when I got home from school.

Other than that, I like 'JAG' and 'The Pretender'.
I used to like 'Profiler' until they changed actresses.
It all depends on what time the kids decide to give us back the TV.

Of course, every thing gets preempted for sporting events.

My current fave is Junkyard Wars
T.L.C plays it on Wednesday nights, one episode at 9:00 pm followed by a second at 10.
It's another "reality" show wherein, 2 teams of 4 members each get 10 hrs to scavenge through a junkyard, and build a different machine each week.
There is then a competition to see whose machine performs the best. The 4 episodes I have seen , the machines they had to build were
- A Monster Tractor
- An engineless flying machine
- A cannon
- An amphibious motorized vehicle

Very neat show (pretty sure it's British in origin)

(Maybe we should have a forum for tv shows?)

For laughs - Family Guy.
For drama - dunno. Have to think about it, it's been a long time since I watched night tv.
Talk show - Rosie
Game Show - Jeopardy
Food - Two Fat Ladies or there was an amazing German cooking show we watched in Italy.
Kid's show - can only find it in French here but saw a little of it in England - Johnny Bravo, just too funny.

Favourite of all time but not on at the moment - History Bites.
Very funny and informative history programme on the History Channel, at least in Canada.

Donnar, that's been considered before. However, there really isn't enough interest in it to create an actual forum for it. Especially since there are so many countries represented here - it would be very difficult to sustain a forum such as this.

TV talk basically goes in the MarketSquare Forum. That's where the rest of the discussion has been on various shows. You can see that not a lot of discussion has developed, despite numerous tries on the part of the moderators. Hence, the futility of a TV Forum by itself!

I've just started a new thread in the MarketSquare Forum for favorite TV shows. Head over there to comment further on this topic!
