i saw the x-men today,it was great!
wolverine-what can i say,ya drop dead gorgeous mate!!!
i knew the basic characters because i occasionally used to catch bits of the cartoon.
i thought that rogue wasn't like in the cartoon, too "weak" i guess.
i didn't even know the actor who plays wolverine was from the outback.
wasn't he just "rugged"!!!???
okay,i think i should come back from my dream world and face the cruel reality...

oh,yeah and the "yellow spandex" joke-wasn't that made because in the cartoon that's what wolverine wears?
it was embarrassing at the cinema 'cos me and my friend were like the only girls there!!!

E.B. - The "yellow Spandex" joke was an insider reference to the fact that that WAS the X-men's original costume.

I want to see the X-Men movie when it comes out on video. I heard it was a good movie and I also heard that the guy that plays Wolverine is kinda cute.

Just got back from seeing the X-Men with my daughter. We both liked it but I think I enjoyed it far more! LOL If it hadnīt been for you, Sypher, I would have been a little lost. Thanks for Snaking it into us!

My favorite characters were Wolverine and Mystique...man, was she mean! And need I say anything about Wolverine? YUM! One of my favorite scenes was the fight sequence between those two. The how do we know itīs you? part has me giggling still, and the "lone retractable claw" after the metal detector too!LOL

I thought the chemistry between Wolverine and Cyclops was good, but I agree that Cyclops was too much of a "kid". And I must have totally missed Jubileeīs cameo...somebody care to clue me in?

All in all, a great flick! My only criticism would be, I wanted more action...it just wasnīt long enough. Seriously hoping for a sequel!

I've heard that most of the cast has been signed up for a sequel....Also they will be introducing a few more characters. Plenty to choose from...Maybe the enemy this time will be the Sentinels !!

In regards to a sequel, I have heard that Gambit and Jubilee will have larger roles, and if I'm not mistaken, Iceman too. And you X-Men fans who are lamenting the lack of characters in the first movie, and probably in the second, it is my opinion that many many movies could be made after the second. There are just so many characters and plotlines that they could go with from here...as a fan of the comic books and the cartoon as well as the movie, I can't wait!!!!

Also, let me say this about the movie: it is the only movie that I know of that has been liked by everyone who saw it...I have yet to talk to someone who watched the movie and didn't like it. And the amount of people who knew absolutely nothing about the comic books or the cartoon, and still loved the movie, is amazing to me. It is not your typical comic book movie. The box office numbers to the sequel will rival the numbers for Episode 2, believe me.
