5 Americans, 1 Resident alien and 1 Haitian were arrested yesterday for a plot to blow up the Sears Tower in Chicago and the FBI building in Miami. Apparently these guys thought they were working with a representative from Al Qa'ida. They asked this representative to get them uniforms (including military boots) and such.

(Um, couldn't they have gone to the local military surplus store? And maybe some nice polo shirts with their embroidered logo would have been good as uniforms...)

Seems anyone with a slight grudge against anyone takes it as a license to go do some damage.

Well, these guys weren't the brightest tools in the shed. I'd think that the camo outfits would be fairly noticeable, considering the situation. Not too many people walking around the Sears building dressed in paramilitary outfits.

If all would-be terrorists were as incompetent as this, the world would be a far safer place. Sadly, they aren't!
