The Amazing Race and The Mole (before it ended). Treasure Hunters is shaping up to be an interesting show as well...

So far I'd have to say the Amazing Race, haven't seen Treasure Hunters - but I do have it on tape. Good to hear that it's appealing, makes me look forward to seeing it.

"Treasure Hunters" is a lot like "The Amazing Race" but it seems a lot more 'forced' than the race. I say 'forced' because although one would assume that the players would be able to go anywhere to search for these clues, they're given direct flights and buses to the proper destination. There's also a lot of product placement (way more than TAR). I still liked it becuase I wanted to solve the puzzles.

I like "Wifeswap". The arguments that the couples get into when they all meet are fantastic!

Amazing Race is great.

I am weirdly hooked on "Project Runway", too. They kvetch and have such numbskull-ish tantrums ~ it just kills me . I really like "Hell's Kitchen", too (it's always a kick to see how teamwork doesn't happen in a group setting, especially while you've got a mass of hungry people in the lurch - and, of course, the main chef is some version of Travis Bickle on steroids). I always wonder exactly how much "reality" has to do with these shows, though. These two shows are much more like a jacked up variety of mud wrestling (just without the mud ).

"The Amazing Race" is probably the most enjoyable reality program I've seen. Although, I watch very few. What is "Project Runway" about? I don't think we have it in Australia, or yet anyway.

Project Runway is in both the UK and US. It's a show about fashion designers who have a limited budget and time to create individual pieces and in each episode they're voted off one by one (along with their model). In the end, three designers go to a big fashion week and display a collection that they make in a few months. The winner is hired for a big fashion name like Banana Republic and their given a fancy car and $100,000. The model they had at the end gets a spread in a fashion magazine displaying the winner's clothes.

i have to agree with Gats about Hells Kitchen. I was so excited when that got renewed and Mr. Gordon was back (yes, chef!) I have 8 years of waitress experience in many different restaurants- i LOVE watching chefs sweat it out.

Also- I get great cooking ideas for dinner! It's win-win for me.

Amazing Race

Has anyone been watching Treasure Hunters? It's like Amazing Race, but the clues are hidden.

I watched it when it first started, I haven't been lately though. I liked the idea of having to find clues and stuff, but still the travel aspect that the Amazing Race had.

But my favorite reality show is definitely Big Brother. It' genius!

I've been watching it - it's pretty good.

It looks like next week is the last show. It's going to be a long month or so until Amazing Race comes back

Amazing race is my fav. And for some inexplicable reason I've always liked Big Brother (go Janelle, haha). Hells Kitchen has been somewhat compelling too.

I found Treasure Hunters to be very disappointing and poorly edited (are viewers so dumb that they need to repeat those video-things over and over and over again? and what's with allowing teams to PHONE each other? In the end, one person solves a clue and instantly everyone knows the answer. That's dumb.) So a good idea, but poorly executed. Survivor needs a major overhaul too; haven't watched it for a few seasons.

I love Big Brother!! And I liked Flavor of Love II. Anybody gonna watch I Love New York??

Big Brother has always been a favourite of mine, although I am trying not too watch the Celeb one this time round.
I love 'I'm a celebrity! Get me out of here', I think that's my favourite one .

Does Miami Ink or Dirty Jobs count? 'Cause those are the only kind of "reality shows" I watch. =)

I've been a HUGE Amazing Race fan since the first season. Some seasons are more memorable than others as a lot depends on the teams involved. I understand the coming season will be an All Star season. I'm really looking forward to it.

Hold on, wait a sec. There's going to be a celebrity Big Brother this year?? Ick! I get my fill of "Celebreality" on VH1!!!
