I am reading "Saint Peter's Fair" - the fourth chronicle of Brother Cadfael by Ellis Peters. This series is set in medieval England and Brother Cadfael is a monk in Shrewsbury abbey who is also a sort of a detective. They are good reads if you like mysteries and are also interested in some history.

Finished "The Golden Compass", and it was awesome. I must get my hands on the second 2. Then I started "The Wish List" by Eoin Colfer, but couldn't really get into it. I do plan to get back to it someday. Now I've picked up where I left off in "Watership Down", but may have to put it on hold if I get "New Moon" by Stehanie Meyer Consdering how much I loved "Twilight" by her, I'm hoping her second one is just as great.

"The Tea Rose" by Jennifer Donnelly. Set in East London in 1888. So far, I LOVE it.

Tuesdays with Morrie - Mitch Ablom, really loving it, the trillionth James Patterson and Wuthering Heights again. Know the truth in the saying that no person ever reads the same book twice!!! My reactions and perceptions of characters keep changing with each reading!

I'm gonna start reading 'The Scarlet Letter' by Nathaniel Hawthorne. I've heard good things, so I hope it's good.

It is set in Australia, but then England. I really enjoyed it.

Oh, Ren, that sounds EXACTLY like my kind of book! (I looked it up on Amazon) I *heart* you! It's kind of interesting because "The Tea Rose" has two settings also. (First England, then America) I need to head to Barnes and Noble this weekend and pick up that book!

Well I shall be reading (and listening to) one of my favourite Poirot novels over the next few weeks..."The Murder of Roger Ackroyd". I just love the twist at the end of the book

I just reading my third Fyodor Dostoevsky book, _The Brother's Karamazov_. Absolutely the best of the three. Very dark novels, with only a hint of light. I'm still in the dark from reading him!

Dragonkin, I've read all the Honor Harrington books. Excellent reading.

Proloz, I also just finished Morrigan's Cross. Can't wait for the next two! I adore Nora Roberts.

I've recently finished "The Expected One" by Kathleen McGowan. Another twist on the Jesus and Mary were married and had kids theme.

At the moment I am reading 'The Street Lawyer' by John Grisham. Very nice book although with my workload I can't imagine when I'll be able to pick it up next. I just love the way John Grisham's main characters think - it's so comical sometimes. But overall he is a good writer. My favourite John Grisham book is 'The Last Juror'. I am also reading Jane Austen's 'Emma' in between. Haven't gotten far enough to describe it. But it has quite an auspicious start!

I've been gone so long! Well, since my last post, I did take a break from "Watership Down", but that came due to the sudden urge to read the 6th HP book, and then the decision to re-read the other 5. Well then after that I finally got "New Moon", and it was better than I thought. If you've read it, (which I recommend you should) then you'll understand my new avatar. Well, I finished that in about a week, and started "The Subtle Knife", sequel to "The Golden Comapss". Then I will read "The Amber Spyglass", the third in that series. After that, who know?

I've read both of those books. I too am hanging out for the third book And I can't wait for the movie of Eragon to come out this December! I just finished reading Tom Brown's Schooldays, and I'm now reading Eagle Strike, by Anthony Horowitz.
