Hi JoJo! I think the title you're looking for is the remake of THE RAZOR'S EDGE.

Hi annie, you're correct, it was "The Razor's Edge" (1984). Can you tell me which of these Academy Award-nominated actors has NOT appeared in a film with Kevin Bacon: Tom Hulce Robert De Niro Marlon Brando Gary Sinise Dustin Hoffman Jack Nicholson

No, I can't. Seriously, I know DeNiro and Hoffman were both in SLEEPERS with him, Gary Sinise was in APOLLO 13 with him, and Jack Nicholson appeared with him in A FEW GOOD MEN, but that's about it. I guess that leaves either Tom Hulce or Marlon Brando, but I can't make any other movie connections.

Great job Annie!! How many times has Zsa Zsa Gabor been married and can you name them all?

Uh, oh, Zsa Zsa Gabor's marriages!?! I think you've stumped me on this one, JoJo. I know she's been married A LOT, but exactly how many times, I'm not sure. I'll guess eight times, because that seems like a good amount. I know she was married to George Sanders and Conrad Hilton, but that's about it for names. Am I the only one playing this game? Perhaps someone else would like to venture a guess?

Great guess Annie, she was married 8 or 9 times, depending on how technical you want to be, she once went through with a ceremony before she was divorced from her previous husband, so that one wasn't exactly legal. And here are the lucky winners: (9) Prince Frederick von Anhalt (current husband); (8) Felipe De Alba (legal problem here); (7) Michael O'Hara; (6) Jack Ryan; (5) Joshua S. Cosden, Jr.; (4) Herbert Hutner; (3) George Sanders; (2) Conrad Hilton; (1) Burhan Belge I don't know about Rubirosa Jar, but Zsa Zsa may have slipped another marriage in while we weren't looking. What actor was originally cast as the Scarecrow in "The Wizard of Oz" (1939) but eventually had to leave the film following a casting dispute with Ray Bolger?

She was married 8 times (with a 9th not legal): Prince Frederick von Anhalt (1986 - present) Michael O'Hara (1976 - 1982) (divorced) Jack Ryan (21 January 1975 - 1976) (divorced) Joshua S. Cosden, Jr. (1966 - 1967) (divorced) Herbert Hutner (9 November 1962 - 1966) (divorced) George Sanders (1949 - 1954) (divorced) Conrad Hilton (1942 - 1947) (divorced) Burhan Belge (1937 - 1941) (divorced) Felipe De Alba (1982) (the not legal one as she wasn't divorced)

Ooops, we posted at the same time. I'll leave the other question to someone else (as I'm sure you know I know the answer!). But, just as a note, there wasn't a "casting dispute" - this person let Bolger have the Scarecrow part more than willingly. He knew the project was going to be a success and was happy to let Bolger take that part, as Bolger's long-time stage idol had played the part several years earlier.

I think it was Buddy Ebsen, who then switched to the role of the Tin Man. He had some sort of bad reaction to the make-up, so Jack Haley took over the role.

The audience stands up and applauds Annie. You're correct!! Buddy Ebsen decided to settle for the role of the Tin Woodsman, because the makeup for the part made him violently ill and he left the project, opening the door for Jack Haley's fabulous performance. Ebsen's voice can still be heard in "Off to See the Wizard." Which of the following actors had not portrayed Sherlock Holmes on film: a) Frank Langella b) Basil Rathbone c) Christopher Lee d) Nicol Williamson e) Laurence Olivier

Annie, I decided to let someone else take it - giving it to me was too easy! But, that's my point, though, by the way. Buddy didn't settle for the part. He very gladly let Bolger switch with him. Buddy knew that the movie would be a success and just wanted to be a part of it. Bolger really wanted to play the Scarecrow - following in the footsteps of his stage idol years before. Plus, Bolger knew that the "fluidity" of the Scarecrow part was more in line with his athletic skills. So, Buddy more than happily switched. When Jack took over, he wasn't aware of the makeup problem. He thought Buddy had been fired. It wasn't until much later that they finally told him the real reason Buddy wasn't involved in the story anymore. Of course, the makeup had been changed by then, so Jack wasn't in danger from it.

These are all good questions (one of them in particular ). To avoid confusion with the other trivia game that we have going, I'm going to go ahead and move this over to the other thread, though. Now's the perfect time, as we have an open spot in that thread. Head on over to "Movie Trivia Questions" - I've reposted the latest question there!
