Is anyone else watching it? I wasn't sure when they did the promos but it is quite addictive, I missed the second one unfortunately. This coud be the next 'I Want to be a Millionaire' in my opinion, we could see it sold all over the world.

I was amazed on Monday when that man folded at the end, I really thought he was going to stick it out. So the show was won by a person not actually in the lead.

For those of you who haven't seen it...

It is played by six players each day for six days, then the final, so we are talking about seven consecutive days.

The six contestants are asked a series of trivia questions and for every correct answer they get a certain amount of money - rising each round, so £500 per correct answer in the first round rising to £1,500 per correct answer in the last round. They can only see their own score board. At the end of each round they have ten seconds to either stick or fold. If a person folds they keep the money they have won so far. If they all stick then the person with the lowest amount of prize money so far is eliminated and forfeits the money s/he had accumulated.

Sometimes people fold then find out (backstage) that they wouldn't have been eliminated as being last - it leads to some frustration!

Finally you are down to two players and it is really a battle of nerve, one of them will win £50,000 with a guaranteed place in the final with the prize there being one million pounds! If neither folds then the person with the highest score gets the £50,000 and the other person will get nothing. So it comes down to either folding and getting what you have won so far, which is likely to be about £16,000 or so, or gambling that you are in the lead so will win the £50,000.

In theory, if in each round, a person folded when they were not bottom, then the winner could have got every question wrong and just be good at bluffing.

In the two shows I have watched they have had one really arrogant player, one who is really self-confident and the others loved to hate - good television.

That sounds really interesting. I'll keep my eyes open for it.

Quite a few British shows have made the trip across the Atlantic

Saw most of them but missed the final. Well worth watching and found it a hell of lot more interesting than Who wants to be a Millionaire, but than again, I like Ant and Dec more than Chris Tarrant.

The final was superb. The only person who actually lost all their money was a awful arrogant man, he lost about £75,000, and I cheered!

Some people folded when they wouldn't have been out anyway but with such large sums of money at risk, who can blame them?

The winner was a very pleasant young woman and she really deserved to win. After winning she said she really needs the money, she lives in a council house and will take great pleasure in assisting her family.

Don't you love it when a really nice person wins?

I've enjoyed the show - any quiz show that gets you shouting at the television is generally a winner.

I was pleased with the result. I really didn't take to Jason at all. He played the game really well though.
