Is anybody watching this US summer version of the show? I'm not sure I'm getting it, somehow or other. First of all, apparently 'All Stars' = 'Most Annoying' from every season passed. It all seems scripted to me, too (it used to be those Diary Room rants went all over the place but now they're so calm and perfectly presented). I suppose Dr. Will is a good example of what I mean ~ he's just too over-the-top with the schtick now. I used to enjoy watching him be devilishly sneaky but now he just seems like a huge caricature of himself. Howie's another one. He used to be kind of goofy/charming/likable in a clownish sort of way whereas now he's just a clown in a Howie-ish sort of way. In fact he's mostly downright creepy . None of this is to say that I'm not hooked (as usual) but, so far, I don't care who wins. Or, quite frankly, if any of them do. Maybe I'm just being too critical?
It's not exactly a PBS Documentary-style agenda they sell to the masses, I reckon , so what is expected, eh?

I'm watching. I think a part of the problem is that they're overdoing it on the creative editing. A lot of people in on-line communities are complaining that you have to get the live feed subscription to really know what the heck is going on. No thanks, I have better things to do with what little money I have.

That said, I never could stand Dr. Will, but I think he's playing it pretty funny this time around. I like his 'talk them to death' strategy.
I'm thinking the reason Howie seems more obnoxious this season is that he's taking things a bit more seriously. He's scared because he sees these as better players and knows he could go at any time. I think his man-crush thing on Dr. Will would have been hilarious if he did it to a different player who would actually be effected by it. Dr. Will is way too secure for it to faze him.

I'd like Marcellas to win. Or Janelle, she's one smart cookie. But she's been pretty awful in the challanges this time around.

I'm absolutely loving this season. Probably because I was a huge fan of BB6. I love Kaysar and Janelle. I liked James, until recently. My mom bought the subscription to the online 24/7 feed and told me (because I refuse to watch it) how James can be sooo crude about the other house guests. Even calling Julie Chen horrible names that I'm not going to repeat here.

As for Dr. Will, I didn't watch the season when he won, but I'm liking him. He's a damn smart player, but I don't think he'd win even if he made it to the final two, just because he has won already. BUT I cannot stand Boogie at all!! For some reason, he just gets on my nerves.

As for who I'd like to win; I wouldn't want any of the floaters to win. They don't play the game. They sit back and play it safe, which a) is boring and b)is going to get them voted out one by one if season 6 keeps winning HOH. So I think I'd like to see Janelle win. She's smart to team up with Will (well at least until Howie opened his big mouth!!). Or Kaysar, 'cause he's a babe lol, and he I think he'll play it smarter this time around.:p

I haven't popped in here for a while ~ whew, I must say the show is getting more interesting. Dr. Will has become entertaining again (only he could stand up and announce to those house guests that he hated them all, sounding like he meant it and still not get evicted ). Howie is still making me uncomfortable ["Big Boy"? How not amusing ]. I was really starting to root for Janelle, too, but I think she shot herself in the foot with that whole Diane business.
Then there's that Erica...just sitting there...waiting to pounce...
At any rate, I'm glad the new season has gotten (in my opinion) more interesting. Still not great TV, but that's not why we watch, is it?

Yikes. That was sure some nice birthday surprise for Kaysar ~ I think he summed it up pretty well when he said he wasn't cut out for the game. Hide all sharp objects from that James, too. He seems to get more bug-eyed and killer-like with each passing week!

I am so sad Kaysar's gone. He seems like a nice guy who deserved to win. And yeah, what a poor birthday present. Did you notice right before they showed the HOH competition, Kaysar was sitting in the room where they were discovering who stole what and so on, which was after he was evicted. I got a little heart-broken. :P

Something big is happening on Sunday. I know what it is, but I'll keep my mouth shut!

Yeah, I know too. Also the outcome. I'm happy.

I'll miss Kaysar, but he was just way too nice for this game.

I have grown to grudgingly like the Evil Doctor. I couldn't stand him his first season, but I think he's more fun this time, and not so mean. My gosh, he's got everyone jumping through hoops! Are they all really so bamboozled ( or just plain dumb!) that they can't see it?! Yikes! (To borrow an exclamation... )

I'm sooo happy with the outcome too! Whoo hoo!!

Yeah Will is definitely an entertainer. I loved seeing Chill Town's moms and what they had to say about Will and Boogie. Funny stuff.

I love Big Brothers and Kayser. I used to like Janelle but she messed up by not putting up Will when she had the chance. i don't know what she was thinking, she lost my love for now. James is going to stab everyone in the back so they need to get him out of the show now.

I will be watching to see who leaves next. I hope it is Boogie. I cannot stand the man

Well, yikes! Which one of those two should get evicted, I'm wondering (I guess I'm allowed to say Erica or Marcellus). Neither one of them seem to be doing much damage. Or should I say that neither seem to be doing anything of a stand-out nature. I'm still liking Janelle (she's so capable and -um- "compelling", if you know what I mean). I readily agree with her that Danielle needs to go - just because I, personally, think she's an historically proven snake and not very interesting - but I'm not so sure that it is good strategy to play it that way and vote off the scoundrels/the ones you don't like as people vs. as players. They're ALL scoundrels, after all. Strange that the biggest rats don't end up on the block or, if they do, slither off it in short order. Were I playing the game (which it is effectively good that I'm not since I would quickly insert rat poison into everybody's coffee ) James and Will need to go, like, day before yesterday since they are complete threats. Marcellus is just annoying. Erica is, well, I don't know what she is but I don't think she poses any sweaty competition (in either brain or brawn).
Things that make you go "Hmmm...".

Marcellus is annoying and frankly, an a**. But he doesn't know how to play the game. Erica, if she really is part of Chilltown, she tricked me, which means she's a better player than I thought. But she annoys me too, with her flirting and crying 24/7! So I don't care who goes home. Send 'em both home!

And does anyone think they know what the answer for the coup de tat (sp?) is?

Boogie gets that answer right and then doesn't use his perc! He is just too cocky for his own good .
Lots of stuff has happened in the interim since I last wrote! Marcellus goes - that was OK, I guess (even though it certainly highlighted how [instinctively] wrong Janey has/had things figured out). Then Howie? Done in by George, no less . The best thing Howie did this season, though, was have a swat at Mike as he left. Boogie's allowed to be irritating, even smug. But I think he's pushed the envelope in the 'Poweful Second Banana' routine. Then went James. I had no problem with his eviction - I, personally, though he was becoming a bit unhinged.
To be frank, though, I have NO idea who will win now. Actually, I don't know who might even be winning! It changes every other second over there. I almost like Chicken G. but I have come to decide that he reminds me too much of Mrs. Van Daan slash Shelley Winters in "The Diary of Anne Frank". So he's out. Will and Boo Boo Boogie are just insanely enjoying temselves. Too much pleasure in it, so they're out, too. Janey and Erica should be on that "Hugh Hefner" show. No cash for them. That leaves - oh, yikes indeed!- Danielle?
It's anybody's guess...

Really? I thought Howie's leaving was totally immature and made him look like even more of a pig. But I can understand how he felt betrayed by Georgie. And like you said, I have no clue who will win. I hope to god it's Janie. But who knows. Janie or Will I'd be happy with winning. They are both playing the game the best. Will is a fantastic player, and even though he won already, he deserves to win this. What goes through that man's head is just brilliant. And I love Janelle. And when she said she was crying just for show I find that hard to believe. My mom watches the 24/7 feed (because I refuse to) and said Janie was crying in her room for like 6 hours straight. That's not acting, that's real.

Howie's behavior was definitely immature as he was leaving the Big Brother house, and the comments he made about the other house guests to Marcellus in the jury house as they were watching the video only added to Howie's immature image. Poor Marcellus - to have to put up with Howie alone until the next house guest is evicted and joins them! I was glad to see Marcellus stand up for himself when he told Howie not to call him Marci. As for who is going to win, I can't even begin to guess.

Darn it. I missed the stuff in The Jury House. Marcellus and Howie in there together? Argh ~ I hope it's a big house. Wouldn't James be in there, too, now? Maybe he can be the referee...
And I'll agree that Howie's exit was pretty immature. But I couldn't blame him for being, realistically, mad at Boogie. It was the most reasonable behavior exhibited by Howie all season. Just my opinion, though.

Yes, James should be in the Jury House now. The only footage Big Brother showed on the last episode was when Howie joined Marcellus. They'll probably show James entering the Jury House tonight.

I don't think they showed the jury house because it was evacuated due to hurricane probabilities. Hopefully they'll show something next week.

Yay! I finally got to see them all in the Jury House (scary business, that hurricane, though!). My summation [until tonight] is that this whole show is now certainly an embarrassment to men everywhere . Howie's behavior is simply outrageous ~ what an arrested adolescent! Marcellus and George aren't much better letting him goad them so. Honestly (and I'm so non-violent it's ridiculous) I was honestly hoping someone in that house would just punch him in the mouth! And then in the "real" house we have Boogie and his tantrum going. Boo Boo without Yogi - what did he think might happen? I still think the show is sufficiently odd to be entertaining somehow (obviously) but I might have to have my own Howie-ish fit if Mike wins. Those two women outplayed him nicely. And he asked for every minute of it. My money is now on Erica, I think. But, again, logic has no place in that game going on. But she's made the fewest bad impressions on the jury, I think. Maybe not? Danielle might not even get around to voting, though. She may go for Erica's throat on sight and end the whole business with a bang .

All I can say is: ACK!!

There is a place on the CBS website where you can vote for who of the two you would want to win. It says that the audience vote will come into play if there is a tie among the jury members.
I sat there looking at the pictures of Boogie and Erika for a long time, and finally left without voting. I don't think either of them deserve to win.

I wanted Janelle to win. She messed up by allowing Will to play for her. I think it's Ericas game now. I wish Chicken George could go back in the house and we could vote for him.

Yeah I wanted Janelle to win. I think either her, Will, or Chicken George will win the $25,000.

I don't know who's going to win it all, though.

After watching all summer and ending up with "Boogie" and Erika, I am so dissapointed. I was hoping for a Danielle/Janelle final.

I agree. If that had happened who do you think would have won? I think Janelle, she messed up so many times thoughout the summer. I guess she got what she deserves.

Well, that's that for All-Stars. I'm going to doff my hat to Will - for (effectively) being the only American to win two seasons of "Big Brother". Shoot. If I could make half a mil for having a buddy like that slickster [to be honest, I have this peculiar variety of admiration for Will and his 'talents', though, I must say] it wouldn't take me long to cultivate the alliance, I reckon.
Jeesh, they were awful hard on Erica, too, I thought. In my one-man opinion, I don't think she was any more or less sneaky/oily/despicable than the rest of them were. Boogie calling her a -erm- 'hoe' was annoying. I'm sure there's an equally insulting name that fits him much more. 'Parasite', maybe?
