The role of Lucy was actually developed for Demi Moore. Sandra Bullock insisted she was perfect for it because she had just ended a 4 year relationship and could relate to the character.

Which film actor, who was the best man at Ronald Reagan's wedding, was reportedly a hygiene fanatic who showered up to four times daily?

My question is:

Fay Wray played the part of Ann Darrow in the original version of King Kong, but what famous actress of the 1930's was offered the part first, and turned it down?

Who was originally wanted to play the Frankenstein monster in the 1931 version of the movie, but he turned it down because there was no dialogue for the monster?

I heard from a good friend named Peter Murphy that "Bela Lugosi is dead. is dead is dead is dead."

I was saving this one up for Halloween...looks like I'm a little late though!

Who directed the very first, one reel, Frankenstein's Monster? (I'm not sure of the exact title of the movie.)

CC, the earliest I could find was J. Searle Dawley directing "Frankenstein" in 1910. Is that the one you were refering too?
Let me know!

And tomije, Bela is not dead...he's just changed his name. He's going by an italian name these days, Bob, no, Robert...deClaudius. no, DeCeaser. Nah, but it's "De" and one of those Roman Emperors names...fiddle around with it. He's still acting. And still has his weight fluctuation problems. But his acting HAS gotten better. He still mugs too much. Same facial grimaces. Less stiff though

Cohalen - You've got the same year I had but not the same name! I guess there must be two correct answers! What should I do now?

This is the source that I got my answer from Click Here
Are they the same actors? It's the earliest move with any mention of the word Frankenstein as a character that I could find and the only one in 1910. Does it match up?

Partsdude. This is the listing that I got for Mr. Edison Click Here
He's listed only as an Actor or a Producer...never as a director.
