Hungree, kudos. Clearly you either had a troubled teenager somewhere along the way (take "had" anyway you want to) or you were one. "Bela Lugosi" is by Bauhaus, the first gothic rock (and fairly goofy) band. Peter Murphy went on to have one hit in underground America. "Bela Lugosi" was a genius song, nevertheless.

And I was just refering that Robert DeNero mugs with many of the same facial expressions that Bela used in his day. CC! Are we any closer to a resolution? Either we should get a hint and keep guessing or move on to another question. I won't go without your say so. ------------------ "We few, We Happy Few. We band of Mac Brothers (And Sisters). Cohalen - Thomas Edison was who I had in mind. I got my info from AMC's Monster Fest on TV but couldn't find any thing on their web site to back it up. I may have been incorrect in calling him the director. He may have officially been the Producer. IMDb doesn't list Frankenstein among Edison's credits. I did however find this... Edison's FrankensteinI'm ready for a new question! This one wasn't very well researched - Sorry

Looking forward to the next question! ------------------ You are innocent victims of circumstance and coinsidence; Be Gentile with yourselves Forgive yourselves Release yourselves...from the past - Annette Peacock

Cohalen - It's either your turn or Partsdude's. You got the correct movie with it's acutal director (due to my mistake) and Partsdude got Thomas Edison...Y'all can decide. I promise to ask better questions in the future!

I'll go since I'm here and I answered the question that was asked and was first as well (Just kidding Partsdude! I'm just keeping it moving) OK. There is a person who links this chain together. Name the person and show how the links are connected: The Nutty Professor (Lewis - Original) Charlie's Angles (TV Show) The Whole Nine Yards

Is anyone gonna take a whack at this? Is another hint required? Let me know. (If this doesn't even get a nibble by this evening, I'll provide the solution and move along to another question.) Can't hurt to try a guess!

I think I have the answer. It's Andrew Stevens, who was one of the producers of The Whole Nine Yards, and starred in the film Night Eyes. His mother is actress Stella Stevens, who starred with Jerry Lewis in the original version of The Nutty Professor. And, at one time, he was married to one of the original Charlie's Angels, Kate Jackson. Wow, this was an excellent question, Cohalen! I've just been hesitating answering it, because I know if I'm right, I'll have to come up with another question.

"Now..That's the Trick, isn't it" - Han Solo And that you have to do...come up with another question. Cuz' you got it all! ANNIE. YOU ARE SOOO HOT! You Go, girl! (btw, excellent work!) A Little extra trivia: Tanya Roberts (Also an ex-Angel) was in Night Eyes with Andrew. Andrew wrote and had his first producing credit on the film, launching a career that is now almost as prolific as his acting career (Among them:Boys in Company C; Code Red and Topper - where he met and married...for a time...Kate Jackson) ------------------ You are innocent victims of circumstance and coinsidence; Be Gentile with yourselves Forgive yourselves Release yourselves...from the past - Annette Peacock [This message has been edited by Cohalen (edited 11-08-2000).]

I seem to be in a political frame of mind for the past two days. Go figure. That said, here's my question: After Jimmy Carter was elected President, what was the first movie he requested to be shown at the White House? (Hint: It has a political theme.)

karmaloupster and Cohalen, you both got it right! It was All The President's Men. You both submitted the answer at the same time, so I'll leave it up to the two of you, to decide who goes next.

The Douglas family. Michael produced Cuckoo's Nest, father Kirk starred in, and directed Posse, and son/brother Eric starred in Delta Force 3.

I keep holding back on answering these Cohalen, because I want to give someone else a chance. Where are all the other movie trivia fans? I don't have time right now, but I'll try to come up with a question later this evening.

Who was the first person to be nominated for the Academy Award in the same year for both a leading and a supporting role, and won for the leading role? (All previous simultaneous nominees won for the supporting performance.)
