The rule I was taught, stu, is that you tell people things that they would be glad to hear so they can fix them - 'there's a piece of spinach in your teeth', 'your zipper is undone' - but you don't tell them things if knowing would only serve to make them unhappy, while not allowing them any chance to fix the problem - 'you have a run in your stocking', just as they are heading up to the podium to make their acceptance speech.

In this case, you take that philospohy, and expand on it - do you think there is a chance she doesn't know how it looks? Would she be grateful to know, so that she can change her way of dress, or would she be saddened and made unhappy, to think that while she thinks she looks great, you don't? Don't use how YOU would feel, in the same circumstance, instead use your knowledge of her personality to think how SHE would feel. Then act on it - she is your friend, not your client in a fashion consultant business.

i am very fond of the "blogthings" site, the tests in there are funny and, most of the time, accurate....if you are honest with yourself

I would recommend another 'brain gender' test which takes longer to complete but it is extremely interesting and scientifically built.
