How is everyone doing? I'm hoping some of you can help me with some questions I have. I'm of course trying to do a quiz on a new independent movie that 1 of my best friends from school is involved with.
"The Beach Party At The Threshold Of Hell" is the name of the movie. One reason for me doing this quiz is to try and help promote the movie. Which my friend and the rest involved in creating the movie, have been asking people to help spread the word and all about the movie.
Anyways, here are a couple of questions and all.
1. Is it unusual at all that I don't seem to be doing things good enough to have my quiz put online?
I keep trying to make the changes te editors say to do and do things as best as I can.
2. One of the things I keep having a bit of problems with is like the interesting information area. How much is too much or too little for that area? It seems I keep doing it wrong for several reasons is what the editors tell me.
They say I need more information.
I'm trying not to put too much because afraid of giving the whole movie plot away before people get to even see the movie.
I also have always had a terrible time all through life in English class with trying to put things in my own words, but to still be able to tell what needs to be told and all.
The editor suggested for me to do something I already did. Do a search on the movie and I should find many sites with information on the characters and all. But that is the problem. The movie isn't even out in theaters, only been playing at some film festivals, and so far not really anything out there on the internet on the movie. They suggested that wikapedia site, which I already had done that to begin with, and everytime I click on the cast, it says they don't have anything available.
Hoping people can maybe help me.

Quizzes on movies aren't meant for promotion - they're meant for people who have already seen the film.

Also, for the film, you say it's an independent film that your friend is involevd in - but how big is the distribution going to be? If it's not going to be in (m)any theatres, it probably won't really work for this site as no one will play it because they've never heard of the movie.

People won't play quizzes on movies they've never heard of - people do play quizzes on movies they have seen.

If the movie isn't even out, how will anyone be able to have seen the movie to play the quiz? This is why we don't allow quizzes on even movies that are big theatrical releases until they come out in theatres.

Just my thoughts from what you've described.

At the moment, the movie is playing at a bunch of film festivals. It recently played a few different showings at the LA Film Festival just back at the end of June/beggining of July. Not sure how big the turnouts were, but sounds like they got alot and are doing really good and all according to things those who saw the movie say about the movie on the myspace site.
It will also be playing at the upcoming Film Festival in I think it's Toronto? Then in another in Oklahoma, and over here in Pensacola, FL at the film festival we now have been having the past few years where I am.
I also know that some popular celebs like Jane Seymour, Daniel Baldwin, and Tony Hale(from Arrested Development) are in the movie.
