Sorry for the delay...thought I was wrong. (guess I was wrong about that )

OK.
What actor turned down roles in The Sting & The Godfather (Eventually played by Redford & Pachino respectively) to act in movies as a man with problems relating to women & as an "retiring" MP?
(And it didn't hurt his career either!)

You Got it PARTSDUDE!
He Did Carnal Knowledge & The Last Detail Instead!

In Carnal Knowledge Jack is college roomates with Art Garfunkle. Both of them go from one disfunctional relationship to another in this Jules Feiffer script. A line that Feiffer removed from the Script was, "Boys begin life not liking girls, later they don't change, they just get horny."

It garnered Jack a Golden Globe Nomination for Best Actor.

In The Last Detail Jack is one of two Navy men who are assigned to guard a young prisoner in transit to serve out his sentence. Jack's point of view is:"No *#@!!* Navy's going to give some poor **!!@* kid eight years in the #@!* brig without me taking him out for the time of his *#@!!* life."

For this film he won the Best Actor award for the Cannes Film Festival; The New York Film Critics; The National Society of Film Critics & BAFTA; and was nominated for the Golden Globes and the Oscars!

This should be a fairly easy one. What movie does this quote come from?
Survival kit contents check. In them you'll find: one forty-five caliber automatic; two boxes of ammunition; four days' concentrated emergency rations; one drug issue containing antibiotics, morphine, vitamin pills, pep pills, sleeping pills, tranquilizer pills; one miniature combination Russian phrase book and Bible; one hundred dollars in rubles; one hundred dollars in gold; nine packs of chewing gum; one issue of prophylactics; three lipsticks; three pair of nylon stockings. Shoot, a fella' could have a pretty good weekend in Vegas with all that stuff.

Cool...seems like an interesting career. Thanks for turning me on to the guy.

OK...who is the character actor who Had a recurring role on several episodes of Ned and Stacy; was encouraged to take up acting by a congressman; Had his first role in Frankenstein Meets the Space Monster; played a smarmy twofaced Trading House manager in Wall Street; and played the smarmy Real Estate Developer boss in Poltergiest.
(And is one of the nicest most gracious people you'd ever want to meet.)
