Glenn Ford, the Quebec-born star of such films as "Gilda", "The Big Heat" and "Blackboard Jungle" has died this past Wednesday at age 90. He also co-starred with "Gilda" icln Rita Hayworth in "Affair in Trinidad" and "The Loves of Carmen". More recent roles included that of Pa Kent in the Christopher Reeve version of "Superman".

Sad news indeed. He was a favourite of my sister's when we were growing up, and I rather liked him too. RIP.

Very sad news for me. I hadn`t actually thought about Ford for a while and really assumed that he was already long dead. Reading about his death now somehow makes his passing away a greater event. I too hope he rests in peace.
