It has to be something that you can buy (not something like good health or happiness), it has to be something for yourself. It can be expensive, it can be inexpensive but perhaps something that you wouldn't buy for yourself. Money is no object, you can opt for an expensive car or a piece of costly jewellery, equally you can opt to buy something silly that you covet but frankly have absolutely no use for.

Let your imaginations run riot, please avoid useful items.

I hate being so frivilous, but I want a diamond the color of my eyes. A big diamond, the size of my iris, a rich brown/red cognac color. I would mount it in a simple pendant of platinum, with prongs instead of a bezel-set, and that a centerpiece to an articulated choker so that the diamond sat just above the base of my throat.

Four first class tickets to Australia, with a stop-over in Hawaii when the Humpbacks are there. Luxury accomodations at all points of course, with separate rooms for my two kids.

The little evil part of my brain wants to get something really really really really expensive and destroy it. A Lambourghini ro someting. Don't get me wrong, I hate senseless vandalism but if it were mine and I could afford it, and of no great importance to the world (like a Picasso or something) then I'd like to do it.

I am not a violent person but I do have an expensive fantasy. I would buy many television sets and a shotgun with lots of shells. Every time a stupid commercial or sitcom comes on, I would blow the set up!

a mason and hamlin grand piano about 1930 vintage with wonderful key action and gorgeous sounds.
but given where i live-- a veterans home with folks next door,-- i would get a digital piano 88keys with a superb set of headphones so if i felt like playing khatchaturian's piano concerto or bach's italian concerto at any hour of the day or night i could.
alternatively, i could once again have a super collection of music (vhs tapes, dvds, cds, even some of my old LPs) with an outstanding system to listen to it all.
how about getting back all the libraries i used to have?
airfares and super seats (would need to accommodate a wheelchair) at operas and musical events throughout the world.
would also enjoy eating out at any eating establishment in the world (my choice of place and menu).
transportation et. al. to all the locations i have read about and thought would be cool to see/spend some quality time.
opportunity to chat with any folks (this would include actual and fictional folks of any time with instant translations)i thought would be cool at any time.
several super computers for various purposes with all the goodies one could wish for.
