rj211:I agree with you on the mexican. I have this strange feeling that star power screwed that movie. "No but I think my character would be like this..." It says something when the only real character with any sort of depth was a gay hitman.
Crouching Tiger, Hidden dragon. I enjoyed, maybe because it didnt recieve such hype over here (Australia). It does sit uncomfortably between story and action, not enough of one, too much of another. I found that very interesting. the flying didnt put me off either, it is just another supernatural power in this chinses mythical story. Howver I think that because there was no real character to identify with fully, the story gets a little muddled. Take the ying with the yang I guess.
I was keen to see Swordfish, always like seeing Aussie actors up there but it was a disappointment. Major eye candy but nothing else of substance. Don't waste your money
