I just read a recent thread that mentioned whether Colin Firth is a totally sexy man! So, I decided to start a thread on him!

Jodan1st raised the point that there has never been a sexier Mr. Darcy (Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice") than Mr. Firth. I would have to totally and completely agree with you, Jodan1st. A very dreamy man!

Colin has been in numerous other movies as well. What are some of your other favorite roles that he's played? There are several good fan club websites out there. Do any of you belong to one of them?

I am going to agree with Linda1. Colin Firth is extremely sexy! I would take him any day over Hugh Grant!

Oh, my goodness. Turquoise, that is just one of the greatest moments of that whole movie! That settles it. I'm getting my tape out tonight and watching it. Gotta see that scene! Whew!

Count me in for that drool too Linda. Shall we start our own funtrivia Firth appreciation society?

I love when he's talking to Eliz right after that scene when he keeps asking how her family is! I keep wanting to yell, "They're fine, already! Stop asking her that!" I know he was just nervous being around her (and especially not realizing that she'd be on his property like that), but it's still funny!
