Have you seen any good movies that not alot of people have heard about? For example:

  • Two Hands - Heath Ledger
  • Boondock Saints - Sean Patrick Flannery
  • Radio Inside - Elisabeth Shue
  • Passion Of Mind - Demi Moore
  • Back Of Beyond - Paul Mercurio

The ones that immediately come to mind are some of the foreign movies I have enjoyed particularly

The Chess Players (India)
The White Balloon (Iran)The little girl who was the star of this movie was really sweet.
The White Pony (or maybe it was called the White Horse) (Mongolia) This was a wonderful movie about a family living a nomadic life in that country.
Cold Fever - (A Japanese-Icelandic co-production) A Japanese man sick to death of winter, plans to spend his vacation playing golf in sunny Hawaii,He is pressured by his grandfather into going to Iceland instead. The man's parents had died there several years before and the grandfather wanted certain Shinto rituals performed for them.

An overlooked and very good movie is "The Edge" with Alec Baldwin and that Hannibal guy (I'm drawing a blank...)

Don't know how well known this movie is... most people I mention it to have never heard of it...

Manhunter -- it's acutally part of the "Silence of the Lambs" story line... Came out several years before "Lambs." I really liked it better than it's big budget brother... There's a sceen with the Iron Butterfly song 'Ina Godda Da Vida' that is really great.
Just talking about it makes me want to go out and rent it again.

here's the movie's official website: manhunter.net

Milo & Otis - the greatest film ever made, and not that well known.
