How many of you check out Who's Online then click on a link which someone is viewing? I just looked and no less than five 'anonymous' people are viewing the same old thread from two and a half years ago. I can only assume that these people are checking Who's Online, otherwise why would they all want to read a thread about 'four alarm fires'? Yes, I clicked the link as I was intrigued.

BTW Sue... these forums crawl with new guests.

I'm sure you could attract a ton of new registrations and new forumers if you made a larger, welcoming "Register" or "Join in the conversation" link at the top of all forum pages.

And maybe take out that part about not allowing hotmail, etc.
