I think the movie that disappointed me the most has to be "Texas Chain Saw Massace". I thought it was going to be some really great horror but instead I've seen better B-movies,hell even Blair Witch was more entertaining and that was really crap.

I think the worst movie I have ever seen has to be Digimon the movie because it is really boring.I dont like Gladiator but it is not the worst movie I have seen.Gladiator is a lot better than Digimon the movie.To watch Digimon the movie and understand it you would have to be a big fan of Digimon.Their is another movie that I dont like it is called Heat.

I agree with ruthg I have seen both movies and they are both crap.

I think Hangin up has to be the worst movie I have ever seen.

I disagree with the 'Texas Chainsaw' condemnation. As far as horror movies go, it was very effective. And it had the whole 'terrible camerawork' thing down long before 'Blair Witch'!

The worst movie I've ever seen, I can't even remember the name of. It was some low-budget flick, possibly of British origin about a bunch of 20-somethings, one of who was a filmmaker, I think, who went to a house in the country. I don't really remember much of it (it was really, really bad), but they did drugs, there was something with a swimming pool and flashbacks, possibly a baby brother drowned years ago, one of the guys got hit on his motorcycle by two of the others in their car (while high), they buried the motorcycle guy and went back to the city at the end of the weekend. BTW, if anyone knows what movie this is, I'd love to have the name, so I could put it on my blacklist.

So many horrid movies have been released in the past couple of years as Hollywood becomes further desensitized - mindless teen flicks, inane "comedies", and other filth I wish I wasn't categorizing.

I'd have to say 1998's Can't Hardly Wait was pure and utter garbage. Of course, I didn't expect anything except a hernia from a teen film! Only teen movies I've ever liked were Ferris Bueller's Day Off and 10 Things I Hate About You (by far the best movie with the worst title).

What a broad number of possibilities! How about the worst movies we've seen lately...

Such as...Scary Movie...the only thing scary about this movie was the fact that it was a comedy without laughs!

Or perhaps...Practical Magic...practically and magically devoid of plot!

And what the heck...I'll say Blair Witch just cause everyone else has (and I happen to agree with them).

Is it safe to say that about 8 out of 10 new movies could automatically be nominated for mention in this string?

worst movie...Way of the gun...ugh...horrid horrid horrid. Bencio del toro took a step down and poor juliette lewis was not suited for the character she played..ugh...

Although there are a lot, I have to say that "Natural Born Killers" was just awful.

The worst movie I ever saw, was a while ago. I can't remember its name, but I do remember its plot. A foot doctor during the second world war, in England, obtained a pig. He then white washed his kitchen and raised the pig inside (to hide it). The pig, did pig things and it was a weird movie. Although it received rave reviews from the critics we couldn't sit throught the movie and never learned the "moral" of the story. Does anyone else remember this movie. What did you think about it?

Titanic

How can you say "Titanic" was bad? It was one of the best movies I have ever seen! And Scary Movie, that was absolutely hilarious! But the worst movie I have EVER seen would have to be... I don't know actually. But I thought Ferris Beuller's Day Off was terrible! No laughs what-so-ever. And any Digimon or Pokemon movie is terrible. I haven't actually seen any but the hype over it is ridiculus! Um, I didn't like Stand By Me, either. But come on people, the Blair Witch Project wasn't THAT bad! I liked the 2nd one, though.

Unquestionably Titanic is one of the worst films I've ever been forced (by my then girlfriend...) to sit through. Great production values, but stock, one dimensional characters and no plot to speak of. The Beach was bloody awful as well (especially if you'd read the book), but when it comes to "time to walk out", I have only four words: Julia Roberts romantic comedy...

Oh, by the way, the film with the English bloke with the pig was called "A Private Function" and starred Michael Palin. Vikan's right: it's dull.

Some of the movies mention above that I have seen I expected to be bad so I wasn't disappointed.

The ones that I was disappointed with were the ones people raved about as being the best ever and yet when i saw them I thought that they were mediocre (or worse)

'The Wizard of Oz' and 'Gone with the Wind' spring to mind.

how, Miss Chicken, could you actually say that 'The Wizard of Oz' was one of the worst movies you've seen!?!?! Some of the movie on here are actually bad, but 'The Wizard of Oz'? You must have a REALLY bad taste in movies if you say that that timeless classic wasn't good!

I am not a big movie watcher (give me Simpsons re-runs any day) but one of THE WORST movies. has to be Little Nicky with Adam Sadler P-U- I bet even the devil was embarrassed!

I agree with some of the ones listed, but not all.

The two movies I think of most when I think of movies I've absolutely hated is "Army of Darkness" - it was so dull I never finished watching it - and "Meet Joe Black". "Meet Joe Black" is the only movie I've ever fallen asleep during in the theatre!!!.

Some movies I didn't like, but don't really hate, are the "X-Files" movie, "Scary Movie", "American Beauty", and "Planet of the Apes" (2001 version).

My now husband, then boyfriend drug me to Caddyshack II (I wish he would have drugged me), it was the worst movie especially sequel I had ever seen !!!! The first Caddyshack was cute but this was painful.

My best friend agrees with you eho hated the Blair Witch (I did not go). She said it was so bad that toward the end of the movie you were cheering for the witch.

For me, it was a movie called 'Truth or Dare' where teenage kids dared each other to cut off their hands and arms, etc, etc...

How stupid! LOL
