Know it well, I often had to go there to work forty years ago. I used to have my lunch at a Chinese restaurant, or sometimes in the Wimpy. I often used to work on the industrial estate and also at the council offices.

What a coincidence! It's changed a lot now. There are lots of new shops, a covered shopping centre, the High Street has been pedestrianised and the number of people living here has increased by thousands! I was born here and have lived here all my life. Seen so many changes over the years and not all for the better either sadly.

I was actually based in Southampton and used to travel all over Hampshire, parts of Wiltshire and Dorset, also the Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands, so they eventually asked me to move here. I told them that I would stay six months.
