It's always great to see Julie Andrews in action.
Anne Hathaway is a major new find.

great G-rated movie...take the kids.
some great moments. pure Disney and pure Garry Marshall.

all the movie reviews I have read compare it to Pretty Woman for pre-teens...

I agree with Lord Andry, I laughed so hard I hurt myself.

I agree with both of ya'll! This movie is the best Disney film. My fav Disney used to be the 1998 remake of Parent Trap, but now, it's this. I remember coming out of Praent Trap July 29th, saying to myself this is the longest Disney movie there is. This isn't longer than that, but it's pretty close. I saw this once August 3rd, twice August 4th, and once again on August 5th.

I, too, enjoyed The Princess Diaries, although I have to admit that I wasn't expecting to. I adored Joseph, and Anne Hathaway almost stole the show from Julie Andrews!

My favorite lines:
Lily: "Wow, is your mom going out with an undertaker?"
Joseph: "No, if this were a hearse there would be silence in the back seat."
