Hmmm. In my travels I happened to stumble onto this "Which Are You?" test ~ short (with most interesting answer choices, too) and speedy. It was sort of fun.

Take the test!

Me? Simply put:

! I LOVE Dorothy Parker, so that'll suit me. Much better than being likened to Hitler, I reckon....

I am in complete and utter ignorance as to who this author is so I am off on another excellent adventure!

However, I am a very observant person.......

Another Dorothy Parker here.

I’m a little puzzled by:
378 other people got this result!
This quiz has been taken 44418 times.
10% of people had this result.

I make it less than one per cent.

MG, I got Anne Rice also. My response is the same as yours, plus I'll add: Not hardly.

I'm another Flannery O'Connor. As I was also asking "Who?", I looked her up:

Add me to the list of Flannery O'Connors. Off to read Liz's link now since I have no earthly clue who she is.

I'm another "Ernest Hemingway penned your novel. Go you studlyman, you.", which I like to think is pretty accurate.
Pity red wine wasn't included in the drink choices, as I'm enjoying a glass as I do this test!

"William Gibson wrote your book. Technology terrifies and delights you."

Didn't recognize his name so I looked him up. He writes Science Fiction and is an American who moved to Canada to escape the draft in 68. He wrote Neuromancer. I love Science Fiction but I haven read his books. Time to visit the library.

Another Anne Rice here, but I've never read anything by her so I don't know what to think...Guess this means I'll have to read one and find out.

I'm a Flannery O'Conner too, though I enjoy Anne Rice, myself, and could pick out the answers that would give me that results if I wanted it...

Argus, William Gibson is amazing. He also wrote the short story and screenplay for that dubious Keanu Reeves flick, Johnny Mnemonic. His short stories are wonderful. I read Neuromancer long enough ago that I only recall enjoying it, but for an easy introduction, I can highly recommend Burning Chrome, which is the collection of short stories in which you'll find the original inspiration for the Keanu Reeves film.

Another Flannery O'Conner, which confuses me a bit, but I don't mind.

I didn't read anybody else's results before taking it, and enjoyed guessing at which authors they would use - I got Hemingway, Austen, Rice and Heinlien.

Another Robert Heinlein. I'm a stranger in a strange land. He made some good quotes.
