What are your favourite films and why?
Mine are Jurassic Park 3, because it's full of action, Titanic because it's really well made and Tomorrow Never Dies, because I'm a James Bond nut and it's the best one. Harry Potter is good too! I'm expecting a lot of replies!

I would have to say, "Sleepless in Seattle" for the ultimate Romance film of all time followed by "You've got mail". For action I would have to say "Lethal Weapon 4"
and comedy "Miss Congenality"

Hey! I'm such a film fanatic that I'm afraid my Favorites are constatly changing. I do love The Wizard of Oz! Another thing I have always loved are the old Universal Classic Monster flicks-Dracula, The Wolf Man, etc. I love that eerie black and white atmosphere-and the diaogue is so cool. I've been watching these old films since I was 4 and I still enjoy them to this day. I also loved LOTR, Shrek, Knight's Tale, and I love good musicals.

Only two movies forever stay in my mind. Good movies come and go but these two I could never seem to part with.

Memento - Guy Pearce was just amazing in this movie. If you haven't seen this movie please do. If you do decide to see it, make sure that when you start watching it you never stop to do something else because if you look away for five seconds you will be lost instantly.

American Psycho - I know some of you will hate me for loving this movie but this was an insane movie and Christian Bale did an excellent job. I am still trying to figure it out and I've seen it about 400 times.

the changeling...one of the best movies ever....creepy, messes with your head, and no real significant special effects...if you can, if you haven't, find a way to see this movie..

fight club...awesome..gained a new found appreciation for edward norton because of this film...

as far as american psycho goes..i just saw it a few weeks ago after reading the book...and the movie could have been made better...but i do admit that christian bale was fabulous...but the movie itself could have been done so much better...

This question seems to come up quite often, but I love answering it. My favorite movies, in order are:
The Wizard of Oz
Gone With The Wind
Born Free
Gypsy

The reason? They all have one or more of the following characterizations. History, animals and sentiment.

Am I the only one around here that didn't like Lord of the Rings? It sure seems that way!

As most have stated on here, it is very difficult to pick out favs. However, there is one movie that I think will remain as my all time fav whatever else is released.

One flew over the cuckoo's nest.( In my humble opinion, this has to be the funniest and yet saddest movie ever made, and the acting by every member of the cast was superb).

My all time favorite movies are
Remember the Titans: If you have never seen the movie, you HAVE to. It is one of the best PG movies ever, maybe even the best.
The Outsiders: It is another great movie. The story is awesome and the actors played their roles perfect. It is such a good movie.

McLintock: It is a great western and John Wayne movie. I saw this movie when I was about 7 and have always enjoyed it, especially the mud fight.

The Cowboys: Another great western and John Wayne movie.

I also like the first Jurassic Park, the Princess Diaries, the Other (not the Nicole Kidman movie), and Center Stage.

Well sorry guys, but my new favourite has to be Lord Of The Rings! Awesome entertainment! I could watch it 1000 times and still be gripped all the way through, if not more so! The other two Jurassic Parks keep coming up as well, I've noticed. The first one is incredible, but the second wasn't that good, I don't reckon! I still think the third is easily the best and most spectacular! It came out on VHS in England on Monday 11th (my birthday) and, surprise, surprise, someone gave it to me! I watched it again this morning and still think it's brilliant! If you've seen it before, watch it again and if you haven't, watch it and see if you change your mind! If you don't, then tell me. Star Wars is good too. Episode I is the best of the series, I can't wait for Episode II:Attack of the clones! Sounds really good. It's out in May in England by the way.
