Canada Post has launched its Write to Santa program again this year. Volunteer Elves help Santa answer letters from children all over the world. You can click on this link: http://www.canadapost.ca/personal/dec/santa/writesanta/santa-e.asp for more information.

Your children can write to Santa

I love the Postal Code. Make sure to include a return address as getting a reply back from Santa would be a real treat. Do other countries provide this service as well?
Let the Christmas Season begin.

Absolutely great postcode! I used to Love browsing Mum's catalogues, when I was little, at all the toys and games. Two things always went on my shopping list to Santa - A Sindy Super Home (of course, I wanted it complete with every little bit of furniture you could think of! ) and a pet dog. For some bizarre reason, I never got either. I was always pleased with what I did get though - perhaps if I had included the postcode, I might have got my top two presents? Maybe not!

I haven't checked lately but certainly locally they used to do this. All letters to Santa received a lovely card with a story. Perhaps I will send him a letter to see if he responds. We just sent them to Santa at the North Pole.

Then the telephone people got in on it and you could phone for the story of the day.

When my Niece and Nephews were little I would always help them write to Santa.
Somehow he always replied and now they do it for their own children.

It is a lovely tradition that I hope goes for eons.

For those newer members here, please be aware that good old Santa reads these forums and normally takes a few minutes out of his busy schedule in order to put in an appearance in the forums a couple of times before the big day. I haven't seen him yet this year.

I wonder if he takes note of 'wish lists'. Perhaps we should start a 'what do you want for Christmas' chain. Mmmmmm!

Feel free to start a thread, not so much a chain - unless you want to start one of those too in the Chains forum.

I have received a lot of coal over the years, Santa. I think I have grown quite fond of it!

(Our bull terrier is sitting on me as I am trying to type in bed at an odd angle. He says he has been really, really good......except at housebreaking, chewing, barking, begging, jumping 6 feet high, getting out of the fence....shall I go on Santa?)

Well i'm expecting coal this year

I like to think that the second half of this year was just a 'rough' patch, and Santa need not take that into account when deciding who has been naughty and nice!
