I don't think they ever wanted to lose the No 1 spot - I just don't think it's in their nature ... a good chance to rest a couple players and give some experience to the younger ones. Stuart Clarke has got to be the unluckiest player of all though. Didn't he have the best figures all summer?

He should have been there all along and I don't think he will be letting the side down at all ... and I'm willing to bet that he has far less extras than Tait does at the end of the world cup.
