Yes once again stuck in one of those "What was that thing, with that guy, at that place?" things. There wasn't a topic for video games but I figured movies and TV was close enough. So here we go, I am trying to remember the name of I game I played a long time ago. I thought it was for the Sega Saturn but it may have been for Playstation 1. It was in third person view (ie. Resident Evil) but was an rpg type game because it had armor and swords and stuff I guess it was kinda like Oblivion. Any way I rember the first place I went to was a castle where I ended up fighting a vampire and I got his sword then to a cemetary and a dungeon. I remember there were monsters called will-o-the wisps and they are like balls of lightning and I got some kind of green armor. I think thats about all I can remember but please anyone think they know the name to this reply.

I have no idea what game that was, but maybe it's helpful to have a look HERE. It lists "will o' the wisps" appearances in various video games. So one of the names might ring a bell for you.

My son played that game and I remember that it was for the Sega Dreamcast. For the life of me I can't recall anything about the title other than it began with R.

Well...I don't really know..it kind of sounds to me like something from the castlevania series maybe?? But I didn't think that was out for the Dreamcast.

I think it might be Darkstone.
