You would never guess in a month of Sundays what that old bat from Hong Kong has done. Presumably it stems from me telling her that I was going to kit her out with gardening gloves, my power washer and a paint brush and get her out there to sort out my garden, power wash the wall and then paint it for me.

Anyway, just now I had a man turn up at my door saying he was a director of a company here in Jersey which provides men! It is called Grafters, they employ men in the building trade, gardening, the lot. Apparently I had been nominated by 'a friend' to have work done in sorting out my garden and painting the walls! He wanted to look at it to see what is required and they will be sending a couple of men probably the first week of January.

I am speechless, and that takes a lot of doing I can tell you. Now I am going to have to be really nice to her.

Oh dear and after all the ugly things you have said about the old bat!

I wonder if it is her way of getting out of doing the work herself....

They are even going to mow my lawn, amazing. I feel guilty now for buying her rubber gloves for christmas!

What would be funny is when Ren is leaving and she's just about out the door, after you being so super nice to her and, she says "oh, and I wasn't the friend that nominated you". Hehe.

It is a small lawn, I was going to get out and give it a trim myself, but it is a tad chilly out there.

I think she really did it not only to get out of doing it herself, but also to ensure that I have a supply of fit men about the place for her visit!

Oh Sue that is such nice news. You know she will be yelling for Joy that you won.Also she will be thrilled now she doesnt have to do that too.

She can use the gloves when she washes the car for you.

I have a feeling you will have to lock the doors when the men come so she isn't out there offering them tea and coffee and sandwiches.LOL LOL.

I cant wait to see the pictures that you shall take of them fixing the wall for you.

The possibility of this being a TV show, made me recall a TV show called 'Grafters'. I googled it, and found it was a short running series, only eight episodes, last screened in 1999. It was about two brothers who were builders, so maybe the show is being revived, and you're going to be a star!

So what do these gentlemen wear while performing their cleanup there?
