They're even talking about the fog on the news here - it must be bad! Maybe they will land her in France and she can swim over.

Oh, I say, hold on Gatwick's one thing, trawling the length of the English coast in search of her is quite another.

This is almost as exciting as waiting for Santa to arrive. After all she probably is bringing presents. Have a wonder get together you two.

The bat has landed - she is somewhere in England, hopefully on her way to Gatwick even as I type this.

I bought the goose fat for the potatoes, not to smear her body so she could swim the Channel.

Excellent. Hope you had a nice trip .
I take it that I can leave the little old lady seen bobbing up and down off the coast at Beachy Head to get on with it, then.

Yes, I made it to Illinois in one piece! One tired and mostly useless piece, mind you, but intact. I'll be recovered fully in time to start back, I reckon ...

The beauty of having more than one computer is that we can both play at the same time.

Here she is

Sue and Sara, Hope you have an absolutely great time together and a wonderful Christmas! Get some rest now too, I'm sure you are both exhausted - one from flapping wings for 14+ hours and one from worry. Party on...

Delighted to hear that everyone has arrived safe and sound.
Try not to get up to too much trouble you too, and don't work her too hard Sue!
Merry Christmas!

Well, I hope that you two enjoy the time you get to spend with one another. It's always nice to spend time with friends, especially those we don't see everyday.

Do keep us posted on your adventures because it has been enjoyable thus far reading about this.

Merry Christmas!

I must say they look like a perfect fit.She must feel so lucky to get such a posh gift to help out around the house.
I am sure she will be the envey of the whole neighbourhood well she is out there washing your car and driveway.

Gee maybe you can hire her out and make some money to take you both to France for a day.

I hope you have a smashing Christmas Day.
I shall be around so will chat to you in a few hours.

Lol! There is fur and a string of pearls around the cuffs. There is a diamond ring on one finger and there is a pink feather duster. I am so glad that Sue gave me these cherished gifts as I can now spend Christmas Day cleaning, which is , of course, my metier.
I may say that I also had other gifts, but none of them quite so suitable...
