Well, Sue, those look like a wonderful pair of rubber gloves! Rather nice ones at that. And Ren, they do look like the fit nicely.

Tomorrow evening we are going to see a pantomime, we fully intend booing and hissing and yelling "He's behind you!" as we will have no children with us to tell us to be quiet.

Now that sounds like great fun Sue!
Me and Mum are going to go to our local pantomime in about two weeks...it really gets the New Year off to a great start!

We are both hoarse from yelling and singing at the panto!

I think that I am correct in thinking that panto is a very British entertainment although I understant that it is also in some other countries. For those who do not know what it is, you go to the theatre and are encouraged to shout at the actors, to boo and to hiss on occasions too. It is great fun and we had a brilliant time. It was Aladdin.

I'm glad you had fun. It is not a form of entertainment that you see much here across the pond!
I do know what it is though, but I think that's because I have Scottish parents and an English husband.

Then there's the part where the Principal Boy is always a girl, and the Dame is a bloke. Lots of fun. Plenty of slapstick, risque jokes and very often some in-jokes about the town and its inhabitants. This one was well produced and beautifully costumed. Most enjoyable.

Glad you enjoyed the Panto. So whats on the cards for New Year?
