Ok, you know you love him, Dr. Gregory House. Or love to hate him. Or hate to love him. Whichever way you are, you know you love the show. My favorite characters are House (of course) and Alison Camron. What are your opinions on them together? I'd love to hear from all of you!

Have just started watching and only seen one or two episodes, but love Dr. House. They are re-running the second season on TV and am realy sorry I missed the first season.

'House' is available on DVD. My daughter is such a huge fan she has both Season 1 and Season 2 on DVD.

It's a great show. One of the few that I enjoy watching regularly. I saw an advertisement today that new episodes will be airing in Australia this year. I'm excited!

My days are not complete unless I'm waiting for a new House. Favorite characters are House, Cameron, and Wilson. But my least favorite character is Chase, even with the accent.

I think Hugh Laurie is brilliant and one of the rare Brits who works hard on an accent but you don't sense that it's pained in his case.
My daughter loves the series and has purchased the DVDS as well. I haven't had the chance to watch them as they get kind of gory and I needed another type of TV.

I love House. Hugh Laurie is an amazing actor. And, like Tim Roth, he must speak to the part of me that is English, because they are so not conventionally good looking like we Americans tend to think, and yet, there's just something about them. Whatever the reasoning, though, I think he's a hunk. I also love Omar Epps and Robert Sean Leonard. I've never really enjoyed medical dramas. (Where medical was concerned, I was really more of a comedy person, like Scrubs, which I thought was a brilliant show.) But between Laurie, Epps and Leaonard, how can you go wrong, really?

Fantastic show, can't get enough. I'll have to agree with Leau on the Dr. Chase subject... and not just for his cute accent (although that is great), but for his cuteness altogether. (and to Dr. House's defence... he too has a rockin' accent, we just don't get to hear it on screen. ) But House is quite the individual in his own sarcastically brilliant ways and I do mostly watch the show because of him... no other person on TV has the ability to crack me up with just one sardonic smile quite like Mr. Laurie can. And, okay, fine, I'll admit it... although Hugh Laurie is old enough to be my father, I'm with Lothruin on his hunkiness factor... no one can rock a wrinkled t-shirt and sport coat quite like Dr. House can.

Favourite character: Gregory House Close runners up: Cuddy and Wilson
I agree with all your posts, Hugh Laurie is absolutely brilliant as House. I used to watch him in Jeeves and Wooster, Blackadder, A bit of Fry and Laurie, and just thought he was an extremely talented comic actor. Never thought of him playing a character like House. Sorry Hugh for underestimating your talents, you deserve all the kudos that House M.D. is getting.
AXN is just running the last few episodes of Season Two in Singapore but I've read the episode recaps up till Season Three. Reading ahead does not spoil the shows for me, just makes me all the more eager to watch each episode.

I think my favourite character is Cuddy... I remember the actress from "Boston Public" and liked her then...

I love House! The good thing for me is that I have Dish DVR so that I can record my favorite shows onto the satellite box while I am not here to see them so I don't have to worry about missing an episode!
My favorite character is, of course, House, but I also like Wilson and Cameron. Don't care too much for Chase, and Foreman can be on my bad list at times too--depends on the episode.

Someone is showing their age. I particularly liked his role as George III in Blackadder and the Fry and Laurie series. I thought he was all but forgotten until this gem appeared on the telly.
As for Chase's accent, it drives me insane.

What I find distracting about the whole Cameron/Chase thing is that they're really a couple, and it feels weird to me to watch them. I can't help but make a real-life connection that kind of takes me out of the imaginary TV world.
Anyway, I'm a huge fan of this show. I have the first two seasons on DVD and watch religiously. I absolutely adore Hugh Laurie and think he's a terrific actor. The man's facial expressions are more expressive than most actors' entire bodies. I still can't get over the fact that House is played by the same guy as Prince George. That's talent!

I wouldn't watch that horrible show if I were tied to the railroad tracks and the sky was showing it. I was make my heart force itself to stop pumping, or scream until someone killed me on purpose. Death is better than that show.
It may be slightly better than 24 and Rescue Me (2 of the worst TV shows in the entire history of television), but it's still really bad TV.

Well, some people are of the opinion that if you haven't seen every single episode that you wouldn't know if it was bad or good.
But personally, watching every episode of a really bad show would almost make it impossible for someone to say it's bad. Someone else would say - "then why are you watching all of it?"
So it's true, I haven't seen it all. But, it's without exception, based on perhaps the worst idea in the history of all television.

I have not seen every show, but I really like it. The 'thing' with Cameron/Chase is sort of confusing, and I agree that it distracts...My favorite episode was the one with House and Cuddy on the plane. The announcements he made over the PA (just for fun) made me laugh!!

If anyone else was playing House then I would watch it but I can't stand Hugh Laurie with that accent! As a long time watcher and fan of his it just sounds wrong.
