I love that my hometown of Muncie, Indiana gets all this Hollywood play even though believe me there’s nothing special about it. If you don’t know it was declared the most average town in America by a team of sociologists who did an in depth study (funded by the Rockerfellers) in the 1930’s. Because of that it’s used all the time in movies and TV. It was where the main character from The Hudsucker Proxy hailed from. And now they are basing a CBS show called Armed and Famous there: http://www.cbs.com/primetime/armed_and_famous/ which I am so looking forward to because I know some of the cops on the force there and it will be hella funny to see them trying to train a bunch of spoiled Hollywood people.

I saw the previews on TV a few times and I am looking forward to seeing it too.

Is that the one with Erik Estrada? I'm afraid if I got pulled over by him, I'd end up calling him Officer Poncherello....."hey, Ponch!" (his TV name from the show "CHiPs").

I can understand why people who live in the area it's being filmed would be looking forward to it. Agreeably, it would be funny to see them trained.

So who watched? It was better than I expected, actually. Not quite as sensationalistic as lot of the realty shows.

Eric Estrada is such a putz! Every time I see him in anything, I laugh because of his impossibly high opinion of himself. And his tendancy to over-act even in 'real' life situations. I thought it was pretty funny how horribly he screamed when they did the taser thing. I'm sure it hurt, but come on--he outscreamed LaToya Jackson.

Anyway, I was interested to see that they put them in actual confrontational situations. I thought they all seemed to handle themselves well.
