i had printed up to 17 pages of courses offered for free by m.i.t.
(massachusetts institute of technology one of THE best universities in the world)and had only gotten up to "earth courses" before my printer gave out again. by the end of the year all courses will have become available. 29 courses by video so far.

Thanks for the link drbob! Through the link to the mit site, I found one to John Hopkins that I was interested in. I didn't even realize that these types of resources were available.

was the john hopkins one that of the bloomberg school of public health which is another free educational site --the psychiatric epidem. and statistics in psychosocial research measurement sounded of interest to me.

Yes, it was the one for the Bloomsberg School of Public Health. The only one I have looked at so far has been the one on nutrition which was interesting to me. Later, when I have more time, I will sift through the others as well.

It's great that all that information is available to us for free, especially if we really aren't looking to get the degree, but are interested in some of what they have to offer.

Yes, drbob, this capability is interesting and great. If you're someone who learns well on your own, as I am, it's great to have resources to read through and teach yourself, especially ones directly from the college/university.
