Dog behavior

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone is familiar with dog behavior.
My Shitzu (Magic) he is 8 years old and has very weird tendencies.

He’ll dig on ceramic floor. Also if we are upstairs and he’s hungry, he’ll go downstairs and bring kibbles one by one to eat upstairs.
Why does Magic do this?

The digging thing could be a few things I can think of. Could either be that he is trying to make the floor more comfy by trying to fluff it up. Or if his water bowl is empty he might be digging for water (yeah I know they both sound a bit odd :P).

The food one I think is that he wants to share the fact that he is eating with the rest of his pack. He just wants you all to be aware that he is eating. My dog also does this, he brings the last few mouthfuls of food into the lounge to 'share with us'.
