Welcome to the forums, autumn. It's a great place to be! I've been in the forums for just over three years, and I've had a great time.

Welcome autumn, from an Ontarian! I have been to your beautiful province a number of times. Where in NS are you.

Hi Autumn, I like your motto; I laugh a hell of a lot (especially at people falling over spectacularly!!). I've always wanted to visit Canada but can't possibly afford it! Unless I win the lottery then I would emigrate.

I would like to thank everyone for the very warm welcome. FYI Skunee, I call Yarmouth my home base. It's a small town in the south-west end of the province. During the tourist season we have the high speed (catamaran)'Cat' passenger ferry traveling between
here and Bar Harbour, Maine and Portland. Where in Nova Scotia did you visit and do you have family here?

No, no family - just an appreciation for a beautiful part of the country;
we haven't been to Yarmouth though.

We camped in the Highlands, on the Cabot trail and toured around the Coal Miners' Museum and the Fortress of Louisberg (sp?). We loved it a lot.

On a separate trip to Newfoundland, we camped near Antigonish twice, enroute to and back from the ferry at Sydney. That was a very wet trip. We saw almost no rain our first time there, but almost all the time we were in NS the second trip, it did rain.
