"I'm gonna make you an offer you can't refuse"

What's the best line of dialog from your favorite movie?

"You'll shoot your eye out, kid."
-"A Christmas Story"

Yeah, I realise how stupid that quote is, but it still makes me laugh everytime I hear it.

from A Star is Born, the Barbra Streisand/Kris Kristofferson version:

"If you die, I'll kill you!"

or words to that effect. Although not really a favorite movie, the line has stuck with me.

My favorite one liners are 'After all tomorrow is another day!' from Gone With The Wind, or 'There's no place like home' from The Wizard of Oz.
My favorite dialoge scene is Jack Nicholson trying to order whole wheat toast in Five Easy Pieces.

Actually, "If you die, I'll kill you!" is from Samuel Fuller's Korean War movie "The Steel Helmet"; Gene Evans says it to a prisoner he's just shot. There's also "Surviving is the only glory in war" from his "The Big Red One". Other great movie lines I remember: "I AM big! It's the pictures that got small!" and "All right, Mr. DeMille, I'm ready for my close-up" from "Sunset Boulevard", "I'm a bagel on a plate of onion rolls!" and "Hello, Gorgeous!" from "Funny Girl" (Streisand repeated it on winning her Oscar), "Laugh now, Heathcliff, there's no laughter in hell" from "Wuthering Heights", "Made it Ma! Top of the world!" from "White Heat", "One is starved for Technicolor up there", one of my personal favorites, from "Stairway to Heaven" and "Old age, Mr. Thompson, it's the only disease you don't look forward to being cured of." from "Citizen Kane". tjoeb};>

My favorite line:

"Beam me up, Scottie " from the Star Trek movies.

If only I could use the same sentence sometimes, it would make life a lot easier

Some of my favorites are on here, from The Wiazrd of Oz and Gone With The Wind. I also love 'I Never drink...Wine" from the 1931 Dracual with Bela Lugosi. He pronouces it Vine, because of his accent, and 'Children of the Night! What music they Make', also from Dracula.

"He should have armed himself." - Clint Eastwood, 'Unforgiven'

"Anyone else wanna negotiate?" - Bruce Willis, 'The Fifth Element'

Anything Bruce Willis said in the Die Hard Trilogy.
Most of which cannot be repeated in polite company.

"Here's looking at you kid." - Humphrey Bogart, 'Casablanca'

Anything by Audrey Hepburn.

'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon'
"xin chen ze ling" - Dark Cloud, a famous Taiwanese comedic actor whose name I can't remember.
I'm not sure of the translation, "a faithful heart makes wishes come true." something like that. It loses a lot in translation. It works better in the original Mandarin.
"ni gei wo bao zhou!" - the secret policeman's daughter.
"ni iwei wo ye zai lien gong a?" - the guard.

and many, many more...too many to list.

My significant other (fiancée soon to be wife) reminded me of her favorite movie tag line
From the Princess Bride,

“It’s inconceivable!”
“You keep using that word. I don’t think it means what you think it means”

Also from the same movie “You’ve heard of Plato, Aristotle, Socrates”
“Yes”
“Morons!”

And also from my favorite movie of all time

“There can be only one!”

Ok, how about:
"I don't shut up, I grow up,
And when I look at you, I throw up!" (Stand by me)

...for ages after we saw that movie, that's all anyone used to say!

My favourite movie quote is "I have had people to walk out on me before but not while I was being so charming." That's from Blade Runner. Also "May the force be with you."

Believe it or not, my brother got off a speeding ticket with the Star Trek line. When he was asked for his license etc., he pulled out his wallet and flipped it open like a communicatior and said 'Beam me up Scotty, I'm in big trouble here! The officer laughed so hard, he gave him a warning and told my brother he had made his day. To which my brother replied, 'Your first name must be Harry?' That made him laugh even harder! My brother told me the poor guy almost peed his pants! I bet that guy still talks about it today.
Another good dialog from a movie is the pilot explaining what catch 22 is in the movie of the same name. It can be hard to wrap your brain around that one sometimes. Kind of like time travel. Way too many buts!!!!!LOL!!!!!!

Kevin Kline's rant in A Fish Called Wanda when he is trying to explain to John Cleese's wife what he is doing in their house. Everytime I see that it still makes my sides hurt with laughter.

May the force be with you...from all Star Wars movies
And here is a line from the same movies I don't want to hear anymore: "I've got a bad feeling about this.."

Liza Minelli's Sally to Michael York in Cabaret speaking of their friend, "Screw him!" and Michael York answers "I do!"
And the love triangle is revealed!

The Genie in Aladdin after the latter's hot date on a carpet ride with Jasmine, "So...how did it go?"

The Genie when he's dressing Aladdin like a prince..."So, what are we trying to say here?"
